FAQ
Before you start the two-week trial
Everything you need to know about the LLM Chat.
What is included in the free two-week trial?
You can invite two team members into LLM Chat, work together in shared conversations, create skills for recurring tasks, and call on specialist agents. The trial is a focused way to explore how the workspace fits real campus work before deciding what comes next.
How is LLM Chat different from a general AI chatbot?
LLM Chat brings multiple AI models, shared team conversations, reusable skills, specialist agents, and institutional controls into one workspace. Your team can explore different models and ways of working without scattering the work across separate personal accounts.
Which AI models can we use?
The broader LLM Chat experience can provide access to models such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, and approved open models. The models available during an evaluation depend on your institution’s configuration, hosting arrangement, and approved model providers.
Can team members work together in the same conversation?
Yes. Team members can share a conversation and work from the same context. They can discuss the work with each other, bring AI back into the conversation when needed, and keep the reasoning and resulting content together.
What is the difference between a skill and an agent?
A skill is a reusable set of instructions for a task your team performs regularly. An agent is a specialized assistant designed around a role, knowledge source, or connected capability. Skills shape how work is done, while agents bring specialized context or tools into the conversation.
Can agents access our campus systems?
Only systems and information explicitly approved for the evaluation should be made available. An agent does not automatically receive access to institutional systems. Connections, permissions, and allowed actions must be scoped with your institution.
Are our prompts and files used to train public AI models?
No. CampusMind does not use institutional prompts, files, or student data to train public AI models. The selected model, hosting arrangement, routing, retention, and data-processing terms can be documented as part of the institutional review.
What institutional controls and review materials are available?
CampusMind provides single sign-on, role-based access, configurable budgets, activity records, agent guardrails, usage visibility, human oversight, and cloud or private-cloud deployment options. Your institution can control which models, agents, skills, systems, and knowledge sources are available to each group.
Available review materials include:
-Completed SOC 2 Type II report -ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification documentation -HECVAT -VPAT and WCAG documentation -FERPA documentation -FedRAMP-compatible architecture information -Materials supporting HIPAA and CMMC review -Information about model hosting, routing, retention, and data use
The exact controls and compliance requirements are confirmed as part of your institution’s security, privacy, accessibility, and procurement review.
What happens after the two-week trial?
Your team reviews what felt useful, where additional controls or connections may be needed, and which use cases are worth continuing. You can then decide whether to stop, refine the experience for a specific team, or explore a broader institutional rollout.
