Welcome to Campusmind , a platform provided by Royal Cyber for educational institutions to enhance the learning experience. By accessing or using Campusmind (“we,” “our,” or “us”), the institution (referred to as “you” or “Institution”) agrees to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Campusmind .
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Campusmind, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms of Service on behalf of your Institution. The Institution agrees to these terms, and it is the Institution’s responsibility to establish separate terms of use with students and users who access Campusmind under the Institution’s license. Individual users must be at least 18 years old and legally able to form a contract.
2. Service
Campusmind provides AI-powered tools to support education, including the ability to view, analyze, and summarize documents uploaded directly or via integrations such as Box and Google Drive. All use of the platform must be for educational purposes only.
3. Eligibility & Accounts
The Institution is responsible for managing user accounts and ensuring accurate information is provided during registration. Institutions and users must maintain the confidentiality of their account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Permitted Use
You agree not to:
- a) Violate any law or third-party right
- b) Upload content you do not have the right to use
- c) Attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass, or interfere with the Service or its security
- Use the Service to train competing AI models
- e) Use the Service for academic dishonesty or any prohibited educational activity
5. Google Integration
If you authorize Campusmind to access your Google Account, we only request specific scopes (e.g., userinfo.email, drive.file).
- You remain the owner of your Drive files.
- Revoking access will limit certain functionalities.
- Granting access does not transfer intellectual property rights.
6. Box Integration
If you authorize Campusmind to access your Box Account, we only request specific scopes (e.g., userinfo.email, root_readwrite).
- You remain the owner of your Box files.
- Revoking access will limit certain functionalities.
- Granting access does not transfer intellectual property rights.
7. Content Ownership & License
If you authorize Campusmind to access your Box Account, we only request specific scopes (e.g., userinfo.email, root_readwrite).
- Your Content: You grant us a limited, revocable license to process selected files solely for providing the Service.
- Our Outputs: You may use AI-generated summaries or materials freely. However, Campusmind retains the underlying model intellectual property. Attribution is appreciated but not required.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any representations or warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. Campusmind expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and the suitability of any content or output for educational or instructional use.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, nor do we guarantee that any results, recommendations, or summaries provided will be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific needs.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Campusmind shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Campusmind total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or relating to your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid, if any, to Campusmind in the one (1) month preceding the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater.
12. Indemnification
The Institution or the contracting Party agrees to defend and indemnify Campusmind against claims, damages, or liabilities arising from use of the Service or violation of these Terms by the Institution or contracting party or any end user(s) thereby.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material violations of these Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you prior to taking such action when feasible.
14. Modifications to Terms
Campusmind may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service following the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material updates will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Illinois, USA. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Illinois.
