ASU+GSV 2026 was a great event for the CampusMind team. We spent the week meeting higher ed leaders, campus teams, and decision-makers who are all thinking through the same challenge in their own way: how to use AI in a way that is actually useful across the institution.
What stood out was how practical the conversations were. People were not looking for hype. They wanted to talk about what is working, where institutions are still cautious, and how to give departments room to move without creating more risk or losing oversight.
Before ASU+GSV officially began, we also hosted a small dinner at Roy’s Restaurant at the Marriott Marquis in San Diego. That gave us a chance to slow down a bit and have more honest, thoughtful conversations with higher ed leaders about adoption, governance, and where they are seeing real value so far.
